Treatment Modalities

Wellness Within provides a team of experienced and compassionate therapists who will work with you to develop a customized treatment plan that meets your unique needs. We offer a range of treatment modalities to ensure that clients have access to the most effective support for their mental well-being.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

ART guides the client to replace the negative images in the mind that cause the symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress with positive images of the client’s choosing. This is done quickly, most often within one session! Once the negative images have been replaced by positive ones, the triggers will be gone. 

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

 

This is a type of psychotherapy that helps people manage problems by changing how they think and behave. It is based on the idea that thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected and influence each other.  

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

 

This is a type of psychotherapy that helps people learn skills to manage emotions and improve relationships. DBT is often used to treat borderline personality disorder, but it can also help with depression, anxiety, and other conditions.  

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

This is a psychotherapy technique that helps people process traumatic memories and other distressing experiences. It is a recommended treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).  

Sandtray Therapy

This is a form of expressive therapy that allows a person to construct his/her own world using miniatures (toys & objects) and sand. The scene created acts as a reflection of the person’s own life and allows the opportunity to resolve conflicts, remove obstacles, and gain acceptance of self. 

Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)

This is a short-term therapy that helps people identify and implement solutions to improve their lives. It focuses on the present and future, rather than the past.

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

 TF-CBT is a treatment method that helps people deal with the effects of trauma. It is an evidence-based approach that uses cognitive behavioral techniques and exposure therapy.
